What are Biskits?
A Biskit is our way of referring to a share of an opportunity listed on our platform. Think of the whole asset as a jar of biscuits. Each biscuit within represents a fraction of the total value of the asset.
When you buy Biskits, you’re entitled to a share of the income generated by the asset, as well as the opportunity to grow capital gains over time, in proportion to how many Biskits you own of the entire jar.

How do I actually own Fractions of Assets?
Fractional Investing on the Biskit platform is made possible by dividing larger Assets into smaller shares using a Unit Trust. Each opportunity listed on our platform has an established Trust Deed that sets the rules for how units are assigned, transferred, and managed. The number of units varies per asset, but together they represent 100% of a particular investment opportunity.
When you buy a Biskit, you're purchasing a unit in the Trust linked to that asset. These units are added to your account and recorded in the Trust’s registry.
